On August 13, 2009  Chris Worden will give a lecture to attorneys from across the state at the Indiana Public Defender Commission’s annual training for attorneys in Child in Need of Services (CHINs) and termination of parental rights (TPR) cases.  Entitled “Sparing the Rod/Spoiling the Case,” the lecture focuses on what Indiana courts mean when they say a parent has the right to use “reasonable corporal punishment.”
